Yueyang Longxing Industrial Co., Ltd is a subordinate unit of Baling Petrochemical Branch of Sinopec Group Management Co., Ltd. It is located in Yunxi District of Yueyang City, close to Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, 107 National Highway, Beijing-Zhuhai Expressway, adjacent to Chenglingji Wharf. This has brought convenient water and land transportation conditions for Longxing Industrial Co., Ltd. The company has passed the ISO9001 quality management system certification, and has won the honorary titles from the national authorities as well the honorary titles of the provincial level and the municipal level in many occasions in the past years.
In 2016, Longxing Industry Co., Ltd carried out transformation to all the power equipment in the plant for the purpose of energy saving. The company installed a number of frequency conversion devices. After the energy saving transformation was completed, the main computer used for the secondary side of an imported FFS film coiler was burned down many times.
The personnel of Anhui DELITER Electric Power Science & Technology Co., Ltd made measurement of the data on the spot, and it was found that the harmonic content in the power system of Longxing Industry Co., Ltd was as high as 33%, and the harmonic current value was up to 220A, which had greatly exceeded the national standard. The high harmonic content in the system was the main cause for the burning down of the main computer used for the secondary side of an imported FFS film coiler.
