Composition mechanism and working principle

The SVR line automatic voltage regulator consists of three parts: the self coupling transformer, the on-load tap changer and the automatic controller. The whole coil of the self coupling transformer is divided into three parts: the series excitation coil, the shunt coil and the control coil. Among them, the series excitation coil is a winding with multiple taps, which are connected in series between the input and output through the different contacts of the on-load tap changer; these taps change the ratio of transformation of the transformer and achieve the purpose of adjusting the voltage; the shunt coil is the common winding of the self coupling transformer which generates the magnetic field that transmits energy; and the control coil provides the working power supply and the sampling signal for the controller.

The on-load tap changer is a switch that can switch the contacts under the loaded state. In the automatic voltage regulator, the taps of the series winding are connected to the different contacts of the on-load tap change; the output voltage of the transformer can be changed by changing the contact points to adjust the ratio of transformation of the transformer. The automatic controller is the core part of the whole device. It is mainly composed of the control chip of the single chip microcomputer, the display circuit, the keystroke circuit, the voltage sampling, the current sampling, the state input, communication port, the control output circuit, the data storage and other circuits. The computer technology, the electronic technology and the military level control chip are adopted. So the equipment has a high reliability and a strong anti interference ability, which enable it to be adaptive to the outdoor harsh environment.

The action of the on-load tap changer is activated by measuring the real-time voltage of the line, and the ratio of transformation of the self coupling transformer can be changed, In this way, the line voltage can remain stable between the upper limit set for the voltage and the lower limit set for the voltage. If the measured real-time voltage of the line is less than the lower limit set for the voltage, the controller will control the on-load voltage-regulating switch to upshift increase the voltage; otherwise, the measured line real-time voltage is greater than the upper limit set for the voltage, the controller will control the on-load voltage-regulating switch to downshift and lower the voltage.

● The oil tank of the on-load tap switch and the oil tank on the self coupling transformer frame are isolated;

● The controller has a small volume and a large capacity. It is light in weight and is easy to install;

Installation mode

The installation mode shall be installed outdoors, and there are two ways of installation.

In case that the voltage regulator has a capacity which is less than or equal to 2000kVA, the equipment can be installed with in the form of double rods by means of the mounting bracket; in case that the the voltage regulator has a capacity which is more than 2000kVA, the installation foundation shall be necessary for installation. The installation diagram is shown in the following figure:
