An introduction to the project

Jiaokou County Tianma Energy Industry Co., Ltd. was set up on May 19,2011 and was registered with Jiaokou County Administration for Industry and Commerce. The legal representative of the company Li Liang, the business scope of the company includes: smelted pig iron; steel casting, iron casting; and distribution of coke. (The item which is subject to approval in accordance with the law shall be subject to the approval of relevant departments if relevant operation activities are to be carried out; and the license items shall be operated within the validity period of the license) and so on. There is a 35kV/ 10kV transformer substation, with a total capacity of 25000kVA. A special power supply line is supplied to supply the power. The load includes two transformers, and their capacities are 12500kVA and 12500kVA, respectively. There is a gas power generation device, the power which is produced by the gas power generation device is 2.5Mw, it is connected to the grid on the 10kv side, which adopts the following mode for connecting to the grid: the generated power is manly for use by the company itself and the surplus electricity is to be transmitted to the grid. At the when the gas power generation device did not generate electricity, the power factor reached the standard value; when the gas power generation device is in operation, the power factor was not up to standard value. The active power and the reactive power produced when the gas power generation device were adjustable, and the reactive power could be used for the system load consumption. The quick changes in the power factor and the voltage were in urgent need of control. Through the extensive researches and the investigation on the site which were carried out by the technical personnel of Anhui DELITER Electric Power Science & Technology Co., Ltd, the following solutions were put forward and the problems existed with the reactive power compensation capacitor cabinet and the quick changes in voltage were solved successfully.
