In order to improve the efficiency factor, generally the shunt capacitors are equipped in the line to provide compensation. For most industrial and mining enterprises, the fluctuations in the load is very large. The compensation methods are adopted, where the capacitors are fixed or manual adjusted. The unreasonable and uneconomical operation state of "insufficient compensation" or "over compensation" may occur. So these methods can not effectively improve the efficiency factors. The automatic reactive power low capacitor compensation screen can overcome the above shortcomings. It uses the efficiency factor compensation automatic controller and the compensation capacitor to acutely detect the changes in the efficiency factor of the power grid, and automatically switch on or switch off each group of compensation capacitors in turn, so as to maintain the efficiency factor to be stable.
The reactive power capacitor compensation cabinet is of an open structure, which is suitable for the off-wall installation indoor. The basic structure is welded with steel plates and angle steel. The screen panel is divided into the instrument panel and the door; the instrument panel is equipped with the automatic controller, the control switches and the indicator lights. Open the door and the installation and overhaul can be performed. In the upper part of the screen, it is possible to repair the knife switch, the fuse, the contactors and the discharge resistors. In the central part and the lower part, the capacitors are mounted. Repairs can be carried out both in front of and behind the screen.
The installation, utilization and maintenance of the reactive power capacitor compensation cabinet should be carried out in accordance with the following manner:
First of all, the product is packed and sent out of the factory after it has passed the inspections. In order to facilitate packing and transportation, for several cabinets which are to be mounted in parallel, the buses and capacitors are to be packed separately. When the product arrives at its destination, first the packing is to be checked to see whether it is complete. If it is not to be installed and used immediately, the product should be stored in a dry and clean place.
Secondly, this product can be installed as soon as it has been unpacked, the separately packed bus and capacitors should be placed well according to the drawings provided by the manufacturer. During the installation, attention should be paid to: check the bus, fuse, contactor, capacitor and make sure that their screws have been secured; check to see whether the primary lines and the secondary lines are connected properly; mount the capacitors in groups, the distance between adjacent capacitors should not be less than 50mm so as to maintain a good ventilation.
Finally, the reactive power capacitor compensation cabinet is put into operation in accordance with the operation procedure. Turn the power switch on the the function factor compensation of the automatic controller to OFF position, turn both the left and right knobs and switches to 0 position, and then turn the handles of BJZ-3 switches 1KK, 2KK and 3KK to the left for 45 ℃, then the knife switches 01 or 01A, 01B can be closed. Then the power switch of the automatic controller is screwed to the open position, and the knob switch on the right is screwed to the automatic position. When in running, the left and right knobs of the efficiency factor compensation automatic controller are turned to the Manual OFF position; after all the electrical appliances in the screen are turned off, the knife switch of 01 (01A, 01B) can be opened; for the detailed instructions, refer to the instruction manual of the compensation automatic controller. In case that the compensation controller is removed for checking, the handle of the switches 1KK, 2KK and 3KK can be pulled to the position of 0 position to 45 ℃, 90 ℃, 135 ℃ and so on according to the function factor. In case that the capacitor bank is manually operated, the capacitor bank shall not be switched on once again within 1min since it is switched off and cut out of the network. The indicator lights on the panel are used as the indication of the capacitor bank input and forms a discharge circuit together with the discharge resistors to remove discharge from the capacitors. The voltage meter measures the bus voltage through HK switching switch (The voltage meter of BJZ-3-01B is directly connected with the bus) . The ammeter is used as the three-phase current indicator of the capacitor; the efficacy factor meter is used for monitoring the network efficacy factor.
Daily maintenance of the reactive power capacitor compensation cabinet
In the daily maintenance, the patrol inspections should be carried out on time, attention should be paid to whether the working indicator lamp of the reactive power capacitor compensation cabinet is normal, whether the power factor meter is1, and whether the three-phase ammeter indication are balanced, so as to judge the compensation effect and the working state of the capacitor bank. If the power factor meter indication is more than 0.95 and the deviation in the indication of a certain phase of the ammeter is more than 10%, then it can be determined that a capacitor in this phase has been damaged. At this time, attention should be paid to observe whether there is any signs of expansion or oil leakage marks with the capacitor case or any abnormal sound and sparks. Timely find out any damaged capacitor and replace it.
